Narrative:

I was the manual controller on a radar/nonradar sector in san juan. Widebody transport had been coordinated with ZNY at FL350 over ender intersection. During the position relief briefing, the radar controller said 'widebody transport is ender at 41.' I thought he meant FL410 when, in fact, he meant a revised ender estimate of XX41Z. I did not question him about it nor did he question me. I recoordinated the flight at FL410 when he had never been issued any altitude other than FL350. I simply misunderstood what the radar controller meant. No other traffic was involved.
