Narrative:
There were 3 cle inbnds and 1 pit inbound coming into our sector. Buf sector was working the aircraft. I called to get control down on the aircraft and they gave me control for descent with respect to medium large transport X. We had all the associated pvd's on our scope and therefore I didn't see any need to relay to the radar controller that we had control for descent with respect. Subsequently though, he descended an small transport Y to the same altitude as the medium large transport X with 2.5-3.5 mi of latitude sep. To prevent a recurrence of this same type tell the radar man verbatim what was coordinated.
