Narrative:

Center requested our aircraft to make in immediate right turn (our best rate) to avoid crossing traffic. While making the right turn the PF deviated off altitude by 300' (35300). The pilot immediately pushed the nose of the aircraft over to return to assigned altitude. To prevent this problem from recurring the controller could give the pilot a little more lead time to avoid crossing traffic and request standard rate of turn vice best rate of turn.
