Narrative:

We were out in an small aircraft practicing single engine emergencys. Both pilots had the me rating. I also had my ME1 rating. Landing checklist was completed before turning base leg. On base leg I pulled one engine, and the student recovered by giving full power and raising the gear. At the time being we had the sun enabling us to see the landing gear indication lights. I recommended for the student that a landing in this practice emergency would be his best act. We turned final approach and had an inadvertent gear up landing under the stress of a single engine approach. After realizing what had happened, we shut down the plane and evacuated it. No injuries. Shocked and embarrassed over the incident. FAA was called. Corrective actions have been taken by the 2 pilots.
