Narrative:
On a visual approach; approximately 8 southeast of phl on a left base descending through approximately 2;500 ft we were flashed several times by a green laser light from the ground. The laser came from our 8 to 9 o'clock position and only a mile or two to the west of our position. We notified approach control.

Title: An Air Carrier crew received several green lasers light shots descending through 2;500 FT on a left base for a visual approach about eight miles east of PHL.
Narrative: On a visual approach; approximately 8 southeast of PHL on a left base descending through approximately 2;500 FT we were flashed several times by a green laser light from the ground. The laser came from our 8 to 9 o'clock position and only a mile or two to the west of our position. We notified Approach Control.
