Narrative:

Single engine small aircraft X on a base for runway 8L. Air carrier Z sequenced #2 on 6 mi final. A twin small transport Y took runway 8L for departure after small aircraft X touched down. Air carrier Z was now on a 4 mi final. Small aircraft X missed the intersection for exiting 8L and taxied slowly off the runway. Small transport Y made an immediate takeoff. Air carrier Z made a go around at the runway threshold and turned to 070 degree and small transport Y turned south 15 degree allowing 25 degree course divergence. Air carrier Z passed small transport Y, both airborne approximately mid field on diverging headings. There was no loss of separation. Air carrier Z could have landed legally but was high at the airport boundary anyway and elected to go around.

Narrative: SINGLE ENGINE SMA X ON A BASE FOR RWY 8L. ACR Z SEQUENCED #2 ON 6 MI FINAL. A TWIN SMT Y TOOK RWY 8L FOR DEP AFTER SMA X TOUCHED DOWN. ACR Z WAS NOW ON A 4 MI FINAL. SMA X MISSED THE INTXN FOR EXITING 8L AND TAXIED SLOWLY OFF THE RWY. SMT Y MADE AN IMMEDIATE TKOF. ACR Z MADE A GO AROUND AT THE RWY THRESHOLD AND TURNED TO 070 DEG AND SMT Y TURNED S 15 DEG ALLOWING 25 DEG COURSE DIVERGENCE. ACR Z PASSED SMT Y, BOTH AIRBORNE APPROX MID FIELD ON DIVERGING HDGS. THERE WAS NO LOSS OF SEPARATION. ACR Z COULD HAVE LANDED LEGALLY BUT WAS HIGH AT THE ARPT BOUNDARY ANYWAY AND ELECTED TO GO AROUND.
