Narrative:
After turning fuel pumps on during preflight, advised that fuel was seeping out of the left wing fuel sump post. Fueling personnel were notified to return and reseat the sump mast. Area washed down with water with a guarded fire bottle positioned in the immediate vicinity. The fueler reseated the sump mast, and the seepage stopped. No log book entry made as it was a normal preflight item.

Title: FUEL SUMP LEAK DISCOVERED BY ACR GND PERSONNEL AFTER ACFT FUEL BOOST PUMPS TURNED ON BY FLT CREW DURING COCKPIT PREFLT.
Narrative: AFTER TURNING FUEL PUMPS ON DURING PREFLT, ADVISED THAT FUEL WAS SEEPING OUT OF THE LEFT WING FUEL SUMP POST. FUELING PERSONNEL WERE NOTIFIED TO RETURN AND RESEAT THE SUMP MAST. AREA WASHED DOWN WITH WATER WITH A GUARDED FIRE BOTTLE POSITIONED IN THE IMMEDIATE VICINITY. THE FUELER RESEATED THE SUMP MAST, AND THE SEEPAGE STOPPED. NO LOG BOOK ENTRY MADE AS IT WAS A NORMAL PREFLT ITEM.
