Narrative:
Taxi out with instructions to use outer bravo S1 to runway 9 and to hold short of runway 4L. Dark asphalt taxiway with ramp to right of bravo. Anticipated hold line for 4L after crossing stopway for runway 9. Saw centerline lights of taxiway for turn on bravo toward 4L and started to follow as ground control advised we had passed beyond hold line for 4L. We stopped, and by looking behind (8 O'clock) we could see that we were still short of runway extension as threshold lights (4L) were in distance and runway not aligned. Never saw hold line. Suggest additional lights to mark stop line on either side of line, particularly if hold line pertains to both runways 9/27 and 4L/22R.
