Narrative:
The controller told us outer, bravo, hold short of 4L. Just as we were apparently crossing the 4L hold short line, he cleared us to cross 4L. The controller then proceeded to remind us of the 4L hold short line location for future reference. I don't think this line is marked as well as it should be. Please have airports mark their hold short lines with signs. Also, taxiway markings in general need improvement. In many cases, taxiway markings can only be seen from 1 direction, or not at all.
