Narrative:
After a short taxi out from FBO in stl, we stopped the aircraft (medium large transport) because of a locked brake. Shut down both engines to investigate the problem. After exiting the aircraft the captain and I were informed by the ground crew that damage was caused to the FBO building due to our jet blast. Several windows were broken and damage to the entrance way of the building occurred. Contributing factors: in the process of discovering the locked brake, normal taxi power was applied during the initial turnout from parking. This taxi power and the arc by the tailpipes of the engines (which I estimate to be 65-70' from the building) contributed to the damage. Corrective actions: 1) extreme caution must be used in congested parking areas, for even taxi power can cause damage under certain circumstances. 2) although not always possible, aircraft must be parked in the least congested area as feasible.

Title: FLT CREW OF CARGO MLG USED TAXI POWER TURNING OUT OF PARKING. BROKE WINDOWS OF FBO. LOCKED BRAKE.
Narrative: AFTER A SHORT TAXI OUT FROM FBO IN STL, WE STOPPED THE ACFT (MLG) BECAUSE OF A LOCKED BRAKE. SHUT DOWN BOTH ENGINES TO INVESTIGATE THE PROBLEM. AFTER EXITING THE ACFT THE CAPT AND I WERE INFORMED BY THE GND CREW THAT DAMAGE WAS CAUSED TO THE FBO BUILDING DUE TO OUR JET BLAST. 2) ALTHOUGH NOT ALWAYS POSSIBLE, ACFT MUST BE PARKED IN THE LEAST CONGESTED AREA AS FEASIBLE.
