Narrative:

I was holding short of runway 9 on taxiway X, visibility was too low to takeoff (1.8 mi RVR 1000 in fog). Tower cleared me to taxi back to GA ramp via runway 9. On runway 9 I turned off too early and taxied onto overrun in front of runway 4L, I saw REIL and determined I was on runway 4L. (I am not very familiar with bos, fog made it difficult too). I made a 180 degree turn, tower observed my error on radar and cleared me to taxi down runway 4L anyway to go to GA ramp via taxiway south. Then I was already heading back for runway 9 overrun. As soon as I saw taxiway lighting I veered off to right to taxiway B. I made a right turn. As I made this turn I taxied partially across a yellow (double) line with hatchings stretching towards the grass between runway 4L and taxiway B. I taxied for about 30' across the outer park of the curved hatched area, trying to get to the taxiway centerline. The boundary of this curve around from 4L to taxiway B was only marked by a double yellow line, no taxi lights or reflectors. As I was about to taxi out of the hatched area I was looking farther ahead to try and locate the GA ramp. As I taxied out of hatched area my left propeller hit something. I thought it to be an object laying on the taxiway. I taxied on the the GA ramp and shut down the engines. Then I saw that the tip of one blade was bent forward and had a crack in it. I went back to the spot on the taxiway where I hit something with a courtesy van of the FBO. Only then I saw that I had hit a taxi light.

Title: PLT OF SMT LOST IN FOG ON BOS ARPT HIT RWY LIGHT WITH PROPELLER.

Narrative: I WAS HOLDING SHORT OF RWY 9 ON TXWY X, VISIBILITY WAS TOO LOW TO TKOF (1.8 MI RVR 1000 IN FOG). TWR CLRED ME TO TAXI BACK TO GA RAMP VIA RWY 9. ON RWY 9 I TURNED OFF TOO EARLY AND TAXIED ONTO OVERRUN IN FRONT OF RWY 4L, I SAW REIL AND DETERMINED I WAS ON RWY 4L. (I AM NOT VERY FAMILIAR WITH BOS, FOG MADE IT DIFFICULT TOO). I MADE A 180 DEG TURN, TWR OBSERVED MY ERROR ON RADAR AND CLRED ME TO TAXI DOWN RWY 4L ANYWAY TO GO TO GA RAMP VIA TXWY S. THEN I WAS ALREADY HDG BACK FOR RWY 9 OVERRUN. AS SOON AS I SAW TXWY LIGHTING I VEERED OFF TO RIGHT TO TXWY B. I MADE A RIGHT TURN. AS I MADE THIS TURN I TAXIED PARTIALLY ACROSS A YELLOW (DOUBLE) LINE WITH HATCHINGS STRETCHING TOWARDS THE GRASS BETWEEN RWY 4L AND TXWY B. I TAXIED FOR ABOUT 30' ACROSS THE OUTER PARK OF THE CURVED HATCHED AREA, TRYING TO GET TO THE TXWY CENTERLINE. THE BOUNDARY OF THIS CURVE AROUND FROM 4L TO TXWY B WAS ONLY MARKED BY A DOUBLE YELLOW LINE, NO TAXI LIGHTS OR REFLECTORS. AS I WAS ABOUT TO TAXI OUT OF THE HATCHED AREA I WAS LOOKING FARTHER AHEAD TO TRY AND LOCATE THE GA RAMP. AS I TAXIED OUT OF HATCHED AREA MY LEFT PROPELLER HIT SOMETHING. I THOUGHT IT TO BE AN OBJECT LAYING ON THE TXWY. I TAXIED ON THE THE GA RAMP AND SHUT DOWN THE ENGINES. THEN I SAW THAT THE TIP OF ONE BLADE WAS BENT FORWARD AND HAD A CRACK IN IT. I WENT BACK TO THE SPOT ON THE TXWY WHERE I HIT SOMETHING WITH A COURTESY VAN OF THE FBO. ONLY THEN I SAW THAT I HAD HIT A TAXI LIGHT.
