Narrative:
Briefed a 3 ship formation at E60 (eloy); took off and did air work over farmland to the west of eloy; well beyond interstate 10. Noticed parachutes at some remove during the air work; believe at no time closer than about 2 nm. Observed a strip below them out of which they were apparently operating. I have a sectional in the cockpit with GPS position on it; and no airstrip or jump activity was apparent on the sectional. Moved away to a different area of farmland; and continued with air work; then split up for separate recoveries. Several weeks later; flew another formation flight out of E60; and after recovery and debrief was informed by one of the parachute individuals there at eloy that they were now operating out of another location as well and they had observed 3 aircraft close to the new strip and were somewhat concerned. This concerned me as well; particularly as I had no information available about this parachute jumping activity in apparently open farmland. After flying I researched all current maps; notams and the green supplement and found nothing about any new airport or jump activity. Frustrated; I took off today; and finally found the location again. The airstrip said sawtooth - pvt on it with 08-26 headings; and was at approximately 32 39.9; 111 40.8. After landing; I continued research on the internet; and found a document proposing a new jump airstrip; which [stated] the location was at 32.660833W 111.683055N. This is reasonable; although they seem to have the west and north switched. I have plotted out the location to the best of my abilities on a sectional; and have given this location to my formation flying group.I am concerned for the safety of both VFR flyers and parachutists operating out of this location. The location is on a main VFR flyway between phoenix and tucson; close to an airway; and as best I can determine there is no information out there for the general aviation community about this parachute and jump aircraft activity. I also haven't seen anything where this jump activity has been cleared to commence.
