Struck a flock of large birds (probably geese) shortly after takeoff. Bird ingested into #3 engine causing severe damage. #3 engine shutdown and 2-ENG landing made west/O incident.

Narrative: STRUCK A FLOCK OF LARGE BIRDS (PROBABLY GEESE) SHORTLY AFTER TKOF. BIRD INGESTED INTO #3 ENG CAUSING SEVERE DAMAGE. #3 ENG SHUTDOWN AND 2-ENG LNDG MADE W/O INCIDENT.
