Controller pointed out traffic to the controller, who had responsibility for 10000'. No other aircraft were involved. The controller who had 10000' advised he had seen the aircraft leave 11000' and protected it.

Title: TRACON CTLR FAILED TO HEAR READBACK ERROR FROM PLT WHICH RESULTED IN THE ACFT PENETRATION ANOTHER CTLR'S AIRSPACE WITHOUT PROPER COORD. NO LOSS OF SEPARATION.

Narrative: ACR FLT XXX WAS ADVISED TO DSND AND MAINTAIN 12000'. PLT READ BACK 10000'. CTLR DIDN'T HEAR READBACK. ACFT RPTED LEVEL AT 10000'. CTLR POINTED OUT TFC TO THE CTLR, WHO HAD RESPONSIBILITY FOR 10000'. NO OTHER ACFT WERE INVOLVED. THE CTLR WHO HAD 10000' ADVISED HE HAD SEEN THE ACFT LEAVE 11000' AND PROTECTED IT.
