Narrative:
We were cleared to land on runway 33 at det. While on the ILS just inside the OM on about a 3/4 mi final a single engine small aircraft Y crossed through the localizer at our altitude about 500' in front of us. As far as we could tell, the aircraft was told to turn a right base, which crossed directly in our flight path. Our aircraft had to make a hard right turn to miss small aircraft Y. We realigned the aircraft on final after being clear of the small aircraft Y and landed on runway 33.
