Narrative:
Released aircraft on iow. Radar idented primary target. Aircraft on wrong code never tagged up. ZAU brl sector called seeking information. I realized he was on the wrong code and called brl back, told them who he was. They said radar contact. I instructed aircraft to change to the correct code and contact ZAU brl sector controller.

Title: ACFT ENTERED ANOTHER CTLR'S AIRSPACE WITHOUT PROPER COORD.
Narrative: RELEASED ACFT ON IOW. RADAR IDENTED PRIMARY TARGET. ACFT ON WRONG CODE NEVER TAGGED UP. ZAU BRL SECTOR CALLED SEEKING INFO. I REALIZED HE WAS ON THE WRONG CODE AND CALLED BRL BACK, TOLD THEM WHO HE WAS. THEY SAID RADAR CONTACT. I INSTRUCTED ACFT TO CHANGE TO THE CORRECT CODE AND CONTACT ZAU BRL SECTOR CTLR.
