Narrative:
Cleared to takeoff runway 36L at mem. At about 700-800' passed above a widebody transport which had taken off from runway 27. Missed by approximately 400' vertical. We were unaware of the widebody transport until liftoff. We did not see him on roll because view of runway 27 is blocked by bldgs. ZME tower use split tower frequencys and he was on other frequency. We were lucky we had a light aircraft with big engines. Of course the tower had no idea of either plane's climb performance. If we had lost an engine or had been heavy, we'd have hit him. This is the second time in a month split frequencys and poor coordination in mem tower have put us in position to hit another aircraft. Lack of coordination causes midairs. If they don't stop controling like a bunch of cowboys, they'll do it again.

Title: AN ACFT PASSED OVER AND BEHIND ANOTHER ACFT THAT HAD DEPARTED FROM NON INTERSECTING RWY BUT IS 90 DEGREE DIAGONAL TO THE OTHER RWY.
Narrative: CLRED TO TKOF RWY 36L AT MEM. AT ABOUT 700-800' PASSED ABOVE A WDB WHICH HAD TAKEN OFF FROM RWY 27. MISSED BY APPROX 400' VERT. WE WERE UNAWARE OF THE WDB UNTIL LIFTOFF. WE DID NOT SEE HIM ON ROLL BECAUSE VIEW OF RWY 27 IS BLOCKED BY BLDGS. ZME TWR USE SPLIT TWR FREQS AND HE WAS ON OTHER FREQ. WE WERE LUCKY WE HAD A LIGHT ACFT WITH BIG ENGINES. OF COURSE THE TWR HAD NO IDEA OF EITHER PLANE'S CLB PERFORMANCE. IF WE HAD LOST AN ENG OR HAD BEEN HEAVY, WE'D HAVE HIT HIM. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME IN A MONTH SPLIT FREQS AND POOR COORD IN MEM TWR HAVE PUT US IN POS TO HIT ANOTHER ACFT. LACK OF COORD CAUSES MIDAIRS. IF THEY DON'T STOP CTLING LIKE A BUNCH OF COWBOYS, THEY'LL DO IT AGAIN.
