Narrative:
While in flight at cruise FL230 approximately an atlas wing fault occurred presenting some controllability issues with the airplane. I lost approximately 200-300 feet recovering from the event and after reporting in to approach control [we were] given direct to ZZZ. Had to fly the airplane at a reduced speed and landed without incident with all the emergency equipment standing by. Taxied to hangar without incident and debriefed the safety personnel.
