Aircraft X was cleared for takeoff at the A2 intersection of runway 21; aircraft Y was later cleared for takeoff at the A6 intersection of runway 21 before a verified time of 3 minutes had elapsed for wake turbulence.no recommendations for change; better awareness by the local controller of aircraft sizes and use of established memory aids would have prevented this issue.
