Narrative:
Aircraft X declared an oxygen [situation] and requested 15;000. I gave him that; then [aircraft X] requested lower. I gave him 10;000. I then coordinated with low side sector about situation; I quick looked that sector and saw the aircraft Y traffic descending. I tried to switch him several times but with no response. So I started issuing traffic alerts to aircraft X; I gave him two calls for traffic alerts. He didn't acknowledge either; but he did turn so [I] knew he could hear me and was busy. I did other priorities; then tried him again and asked to acknowledge with ident. No response. After around seven minutes an aircraft on my frequency said they were talking with [aircraft X]; so I relayed through [that] aircraft to switch him. I think the closest [they] got was 600 feet [and] 3 miles.
