Narrative:
We were cleared to depart runway 8L den and began our roll. At about 60 KTS we heard over the radio someone unidentified said 'there is an airplane crossing runway 8L, its not clear.' we aborted. Then tower came on and asked 'who said that, and the runway was in fact clear.' no one replied. We then returned for departure runway 8L.

Title: ACR LTT FLT CREW ABORTS TKOF WHEN COMMENT MADE REGARDING TKOF RWY NOT BEING CLEAR OF TRAFFIC ON TWR FREQ. SOURCE UNKNOWN.
Narrative: WE WERE CLRED TO DEPART RWY 8L DEN AND BEGAN OUR ROLL. AT ABOUT 60 KTS WE HEARD OVER THE RADIO SOMEONE UNIDENTIFIED SAID 'THERE IS AN AIRPLANE XING RWY 8L, ITS NOT CLR.' WE ABORTED. THEN TWR CAME ON AND ASKED 'WHO SAID THAT, AND THE RWY WAS IN FACT CLR.' NO ONE REPLIED. WE THEN RETURNED FOR DEP RWY 8L.
