Narrative:
Bay departure issued turn from runway heading (294 degree) left to 210 degree. We immediately began a 20 degree angle of bank turn to the left (company SOP). Passing heading 240 degree in the turn the controller asked if we had begun our turn. We responded yes and rolled out on the 210 degree heading moments later. The controller literally started harrassing us regarding our rate of turn, saying it took us 8 mi, asking what our angle of bank was, and saying other airlines don't take that long to turn etc. I thought it was very unprofessional for the controller to berate us over the frequency for a perceived problem. Apparently he had a traffic conflict that he was trying to blame on us. Please tell the controllers we try to do our jobs professionally, and expect the same from them, west/O harassment and west/O them trying to fly the aircraft from the ground.

Title: MLG FLT CREW ON TURN TO HDG IS TOLD TOO SLOW.
Narrative: BAY DEP ISSUED TURN FROM RWY HDG (294 DEG) L TO 210 DEG. WE IMMEDIATELY BEGAN A 20 DEG ANGLE OF BANK TURN TO THE L (COMPANY SOP). PASSING HDG 240 DEG IN THE TURN THE CTLR ASKED IF WE HAD BEGUN OUR TURN. WE RESPONDED YES AND ROLLED OUT ON THE 210 DEG HDG MOMENTS LATER. THE CTLR LITERALLY STARTED HARRASSING US REGARDING OUR RATE OF TURN, SAYING IT TOOK US 8 MI, ASKING WHAT OUR ANGLE OF BANK WAS, AND SAYING OTHER AIRLINES DON'T TAKE THAT LONG TO TURN ETC. I THOUGHT IT WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL FOR THE CTLR TO BERATE US OVER THE FREQ FOR A PERCEIVED PROB. APPARENTLY HE HAD A TFC CONFLICT THAT HE WAS TRYING TO BLAME ON US. PLEASE TELL THE CTLRS WE TRY TO DO OUR JOBS PROFESSIONALLY, AND EXPECT THE SAME FROM THEM, W/O HARASSMENT AND W/O THEM TRYING TO FLY THE ACFT FROM THE GND.
