Narrative:
Departed hwd for bfl at about xy:15 local time, 5/fri/91. I normally depart from oak utilizing bay departure. I did not switch to bay after the hwd departure, and I was unaware of any problems until I was asked to call bay TRACON collect when I arrived at bfl. The phone # I was given at bfl was not correct. (I did read back the # to the ground controller for confirmation.) when I phoned and was advised that the # was in service, I realized that I had been given the wrong area code. I did not try the call again. The reason for this report is that it is possible that I may have entered the sfo TCA near mison intersection. I did not see any other aircraft. I was squawking 1200 mode C. If I did in fact enter the TCA, it might have been avoided by either utilizing a VFR terminal area chart, or resetting the dg, which had precessed to the point that I was flying a heading of 125 degrees instead of 110 degrees. A change in normal procedures, combined with an error in my dg may have caused me to deviate into the TCA.

Title: UNAUTH PENETRATION OF AIRSPACE.
Narrative: DEPARTED HWD FOR BFL AT ABOUT XY:15 LCL TIME, 5/FRI/91. I NORMALLY DEPART FROM OAK UTILIZING BAY DEP. I DID NOT SWITCH TO BAY AFTER THE HWD DEP, AND I WAS UNAWARE OF ANY PROBS UNTIL I WAS ASKED TO CALL BAY TRACON COLLECT WHEN I ARRIVED AT BFL. THE PHONE # I WAS GIVEN AT BFL WAS NOT CORRECT. (I DID READ BACK THE # TO THE GND CTLR FOR CONFIRMATION.) WHEN I PHONED AND WAS ADVISED THAT THE # WAS IN SVC, I REALIZED THAT I HAD BEEN GIVEN THE WRONG AREA CODE. I DID NOT TRY THE CALL AGAIN. THE REASON FOR THIS RPT IS THAT IT IS POSSIBLE THAT I MAY HAVE ENTERED THE SFO TCA NEAR MISON INTXN. I DID NOT SEE ANY OTHER ACFT. I WAS SQUAWKING 1200 MODE C. IF I DID IN FACT ENTER THE TCA, IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN AVOIDED BY EITHER UTILIZING A VFR TERMINAL AREA CHART, OR RESETTING THE DG, WHICH HAD PRECESSED TO THE POINT THAT I WAS FLYING A HDG OF 125 DEGS INSTEAD OF 110 DEGS. A CHANGE IN NORMAL PROCS, COMBINED WITH AN ERROR IN MY DG MAY HAVE CAUSED ME TO DEVIATE INTO THE TCA.
