Narrative:
This was the second similar occurrence in a week. We briefed for the 'kirn 2L' departure from runway 18. Clearance is not given until pushback when we were busy with checklists. The clearance was 'kirn 2G'. We both missed the change from left to G. Departure asked us to confirm the departure procedure we were flying, and that's when we discovered our mistake. Clrncs should be given far enough ahead of time so that you are not rushed and can look them over carefully. The departures should have individual names. The number of departures should be kept to a min.
