Narrative:
Low oil pressure from the left engine, required power to be reduced to idle as per checklist. Request for a diversion to tri was necessary. Notified ATC of the problem. After oil pressure continued to drop below a specified level, a precautionary engine shutdown was accomplished according to checklist. Notified ATC that engine had to be shut down and an emergency was declared, requesting priority into tri. No further actions were necessary.

Title: CORP FLC SHUTS DOWN ENG AFTER OIL PRESSURE DROP. DIVERTS.
Narrative: LOW OIL PRESSURE FROM THE L ENG, REQUIRED PWR TO BE REDUCED TO IDLE AS PER CHKLIST. REQUEST FOR A DIVERSION TO TRI WAS NECESSARY. NOTIFIED ATC OF THE PROBLEM. AFTER OIL PRESSURE CONTINUED TO DROP BELOW A SPECIFIED LEVEL, A PRECAUTIONARY ENG SHUTDOWN WAS ACCOMPLISHED ACCORDING TO CHKLIST. NOTIFIED ATC THAT ENG HAD TO BE SHUT DOWN AND AN EMER WAS DECLARED, REQUESTING PRIORITY INTO TRI. NO FURTHER ACTIONS WERE NECESSARY.
