Narrative:
Taxiing into park, at gate our light transport aircraft bumped wing tips (overlapped) with the next light transport aircraft on the right. Myself, as the first officer, told the captain to 'slow down, we're pretty close.' then followed up with shouting 'stop!' the qualified ramper was still signaling to come forward. The captain put on the brakes and yet the aircraft still lunged 4 or 5 inches forward to meet with the adjacent aircraft's wing tip. Even after the 2 wing tips had met, the qualified ramper was still signaling us to come forward. Insignificant damage was sustained by both wing tips. Nonetheless, company policy called for a change of both wing tips. The parking arrangements on the company airline ramp are completely unsatisfactory. Measures are being taken to change the layout of aircraft position on the ramp. Also, further on-the-job- training is being dispersed to all the individual rampers. The ramper that was directing us into our 'parking space' has since been fired.
