Narrative:
On a flight from hou to crp I was asked to call the ground supervisor in hou (for our company). He stated a helicopter was maneuvering behind our aircraft during pushback. This was in an ATC uncontrolled portion of the ramp at hou. Ground control provides advisories only. I saw the helicopter during the initial portion of the pushback and he did not appear to be any factor and was visible to the ground crew. I contacted the tower supervisor and she said she would talk to the helicopter pilot. I am making this report based on what the ramp personnel reported, ie, the helicopter missed our tail by 15 ft. I did not observe this but thought it important enough to report.
