Narrative:
We were cleared to taxi to runway 15 to hold short of runway 06. As we were taxiing north on taxiway alpha approaching taxiway delta. I had '06' on it to my immediate left. While I was registering this, ground control told us to hurry across 06 because traffic was landing. I guess that because I was looking at the sign to my left I mistakenly thought runway 15-33 was runway 06 so I turned left and crossed it ending up on echo taxiway. There was no traffic for or on 15-33 so there was no conflict. Factors: I had as is my usual practice put my heading bug on 150 degree when originally given taxi instructions. However in my haste to hurry across '6' I did not look down to my ehsi as I was clearing traffic out the left window while the first officer cleared out the right while we crossed the runway. The taxi ways are not labeled - at least I did not remember seeing any signs. The sign I saw was not marking the runway but only indicating which way to go to get to it. 15-33 was not marked either. Lessons learned (relearned): don't allow yourself to be rushed. Stick to good procedures (use compass to verify direction).

Title: COMMUTER FLC MISREADS SIGNS, CROSSES ACTIVE RWY.
Narrative: WE WERE CLRED TO TAXI TO RWY 15 TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 06. AS WE WERE TAXIING N ON TAXIWAY ALPHA APCHING TAXIWAY DELTA. I HAD '06' ON IT TO MY IMMEDIATE L. WHILE I WAS REGISTERING THIS, GND CTL TOLD US TO HURRY ACROSS 06 BECAUSE TFC WAS LNDG. I GUESS THAT BECAUSE I WAS LOOKING AT THE SIGN TO MY L I MISTAKENLY THOUGHT RWY 15-33 WAS RWY 06 SO I TURNED L AND CROSSED IT ENDING UP ON ECHO TAXIWAY. THERE WAS NO TFC FOR OR ON 15-33 SO THERE WAS NO CONFLICT. FACTORS: I HAD AS IS MY USUAL PRACTICE PUT MY HDG BUG ON 150 DEG WHEN ORIGINALLY GIVEN TAXI INSTRUCTIONS. HOWEVER IN MY HASTE TO HURRY ACROSS '6' I DID NOT LOOK DOWN TO MY EHSI AS I WAS CLRING TFC OUT THE LEFT WINDOW WHILE THE FO CLRED OUT THE R WHILE WE CROSSED THE RWY. THE TAXI WAYS ARE NOT LABELED - AT LEAST I DID NOT REMEMBER SEEING ANY SIGNS. THE SIGN I SAW WAS NOT MARKING THE RWY BUT ONLY INDICATING WHICH WAY TO GO TO GET TO IT. 15-33 WAS NOT MARKED EITHER. LESSONS LEARNED (RELEARNED): DON'T ALLOW YOURSELF TO BE RUSHED. STICK TO GOOD PROCS (USE COMPASS TO VERIFY DIRECTION).
