Narrative:
Air carrier X approximately 15 mi south of kiowa VOR inbound to den at 11000 ft when a TCASII TA, then an RA sounded, almost at the same time. The RA told us to climb. We climbed to 11500 ft at which time we saw on the TCASII display that the traffic Y was at 11000 ft about 2 mi to our left apparently in the opposite direction. We never got a visual on the traffic Y. We descended back to 11000 ft.
