Narrative:
Air carrier X level at 6000 on extended right downwind for runway 24. Heading 060. Cpr Y heading 360, assigned 5000 being worked by another sector. Cpr Y acknowledged altitude assignment and climbed. Air carrier X advised they had to climb a couple hundred ft and turn in order to miss. Cpr Y then descended back to assigned altitude.

Narrative: ACR X LEVEL AT 6000 ON EXTENDED R DOWNWIND FOR RWY 24. HDG 060. CPR Y HDG 360, ASSIGNED 5000 BEING WORKED BY ANOTHER SECTOR. CPR Y ACKNOWLEDGED ALT ASSIGNMENT AND CLBED. ACR X ADVISED THEY HAD TO CLB A COUPLE HUNDRED FT AND TURN IN ORDER TO MISS. CPR Y THEN DSNDED BACK TO ASSIGNED ALT.
