Narrative:

The aircraft was dispatched with 4 maintenance carryovers, 1 of which was the aft cargo door light inoperative. Before pushback, the mechanic informed us all doors closed and locked. During takeoff, I (the first officer, who was to fly the leg) applied takeoff thrust, and gave the throttles to the captain. At about 65 KTS, the master caution light illuminated with an aft cargo door message. The captain aborted the takeoff. The flight returned to the gate where maintenance re-verified the door was closed and locked and the flight was re-dispatched. The operational data manual was consulted for brake temperature. The flight then proceeded normally.
