Narrative:

With lightning to south, took off on east runway to avoid possible thunderstorm (which was supposed to have dissipated). After takeoff climb altitude was established but forward speed and vertical speed continued to climb. I was flying and I told the first officer what was happening, told him what I planned to do, and I needed information from him -- then the speaker started screaming 'wind shear' and ruined my scan and all information flow for at least 15 seconds. Maybe we need to reread part 101 about how people work under pressure with loud noises.
