Narrative:
Departing runway 16L at seattle (sea), at approximately 80-90 KTS, the aircraft yawed to the right. I immediately recovered control of the aircraft. The takeoff was aborted (for what we thought was a blown right main gear tire). We cleared the runway in front of our terminal. The tower called, asked if we needed any assistance. The captain said to respond in the negative, which I did. (At the time we only needed to move the aircraft approximately 300-400 ft. The parking spot was so near I felt like it would be the same as clearing a freeway off ramp when a gas station is right across the intersection.) after we stopped and looked at the damage that the rubber had done, I realized that we should have stopped the aircraft at the taxiway intersection and called for ground equipment to help us. I now have a 'knot' in my stomach over the decision that was made. It will not happen again.

Title: TKOF ABORTED AS LTT BLOWS R SIDE TIRES.
Narrative: DEPARTING RWY 16L AT SEATTLE (SEA), AT APPROX 80-90 KTS, THE ACFT YAWED TO THE R. I IMMEDIATELY RECOVERED CTL OF THE ACFT. THE TKOF WAS ABORTED (FOR WHAT WE THOUGHT WAS A BLOWN R MAIN GEAR TIRE). WE CLRED THE RWY IN FRONT OF OUR TERMINAL. THE TWR CALLED, ASKED IF WE NEEDED ANY ASSISTANCE. THE CAPT SAID TO RESPOND IN THE NEGATIVE, WHICH I DID. (AT THE TIME WE ONLY NEEDED TO MOVE THE ACFT APPROX 300-400 FT. THE PARKING SPOT WAS SO NEAR I FELT LIKE IT WOULD BE THE SAME AS CLRING A FREEWAY OFF RAMP WHEN A GAS STATION IS RIGHT ACROSS THE INTXN.)
