Narrative:
While under control of tus approach control, I experienced a near midair collision with a small transport X. The aircraft I was flying, small transport Y was assigned 6000 ft, transponder code XXXX and frequency 118.5 by tus approach control. My position was approaching the wason IAF, on the localizer for the ILS 11L. Without any warning call from tus approach, a small transport X overtook me from 7 O'clock high to 12 O'clock low passing within 200 ft off my left wing. There was no time for evasive action but I called tus approach and advised them they had 2 airplanes in the same airspace. Tus advised me that that small transport X was assigned 6500 ft. Once on the ground, I called tus approach and spoke to the supervisor. I described the events of the near miss and asked her if she had spoken to the pilot of small transport X. She said she had, and that he told her that he had seen me and since I was VFR in a see and be seen environment, that there was nothing she could do. I am positive that the pilot of small transport X never saw me as no experienced pilot would intentionally come that close to another aircraft in flight.

Title: SMT HAS NMAC WITH SMT X WHILE ESTABLISHING APCH FOR ILS.
Narrative: WHILE UNDER CTL OF TUS APCH CTL, I EXPERIENCED A NMAC WITH A SMT X. THE ACFT I WAS FLYING, SMT Y WAS ASSIGNED 6000 FT, TRANSPONDER CODE XXXX AND FREQ 118.5 BY TUS APCH CTL. MY POS WAS APCHING THE WASON IAF, ON THE LOC FOR THE ILS 11L. WITHOUT ANY WARNING CALL FROM TUS APCH, A SMT X OVERTOOK ME FROM 7 O'CLOCK HIGH TO 12 O'CLOCK LOW PASSING WITHIN 200 FT OFF MY L WING. THERE WAS NO TIME FOR EVASIVE ACTION BUT I CALLED TUS APCH AND ADVISED THEM THEY HAD 2 AIRPLANES IN THE SAME AIRSPACE. TUS ADVISED ME THAT THAT SMT X WAS ASSIGNED 6500 FT. ONCE ON THE GND, I CALLED TUS APCH AND SPOKE TO THE SUPVR. I DESCRIBED THE EVENTS OF THE NEAR MISS AND ASKED HER IF SHE HAD SPOKEN TO THE PLT OF SMT X. SHE SAID SHE HAD, AND THAT HE TOLD HER THAT HE HAD SEEN ME AND SINCE I WAS VFR IN A SEE AND BE SEEN ENVIRONMENT, THAT THERE WAS NOTHING SHE COULD DO. I AM POSITIVE THAT THE PLT OF SMT X NEVER SAW ME AS NO EXPERIENCED PLT WOULD INTENTIONALLY COME THAT CLOSE TO ANOTHER ACFT IN FLT.
