Narrative:
At PM22 on aug/tue/92 our position was 095 radial oxi VOR 4 DME, when chicago approach asked what our altitude was. We told them 15300 ft. Chicago asked what our clearance was? I told them to cross knox at 16000 or below and cross halie at 11000 ft. Chicago said our clearance was to cross knox at 16000 and halie at 11000 ft. I asked them if they wanted us to climb back up to 16000 ft. They said no, maintain 15000 ft and cross halie at 11000 ft. Our conversation with chicago approach caused us to be a little slow turning to our outbound radial at knox of 297 degrees.
