Narrative:

Climbing out of bos approach's airspace into mht approach's airspace, we received a clearance to climb to 11000 ft. When checking into mht approach control, we were going through 10700 ft when mht questioned us being at 10700 ft. We notified him that previous controller cleared us to 11000. He immediately told us that we should be at 10000 ft. At this time he said we might as well climb to 11000 ft and shortly after turned us over to ZBW. No conflict with any traffic.
