Narrative:
We were cleared for takeoff on runway 15R at jan. We were advised of the following traffic by jan tower, MTR at 1100 ft south of field, mlt circling west of 15R. After takeoff, we observed TCASII traffic momentarily flash at 11 O'clock position below us prior to our turn to the west. We had no visual contact of this traffic. Our altitude at this time was approximately 1500 ft MSL in a climb at 2000 FPM. After turning wbound, we observed visually an MTR sebound down below us. Our altitude at this time was approximately 6000 ft MSL and we estimate his altitude at 2000-3000 ft MSL (which was below TCASII scale). The following day, we were advised by chief pilot of the possible conflict with the MTR just after departure. We were not advised by jan tower of an MTR on approach to 33L at jan.

Title: AN ACR LGT CAME CLOSE TO AN MLT. THE LGT WAS DEPARTING 15R, THE MLT APCHING 33L.
Narrative: WE WERE CLRED FOR TKOF ON RWY 15R AT JAN. WE WERE ADVISED OF THE FOLLOWING TFC BY JAN TWR, MTR AT 1100 FT S OF FIELD, MLT CIRCLING W OF 15R. AFTER TKOF, WE OBSERVED TCASII TFC MOMENTARILY FLASH AT 11 O'CLOCK POS BELOW US PRIOR TO OUR TURN TO THE W. WE HAD NO VISUAL CONTACT OF THIS TFC. OUR ALT AT THIS TIME WAS APPROX 1500 FT MSL IN A CLB AT 2000 FPM. AFTER TURNING WBOUND, WE OBSERVED VISUALLY AN MTR SEBOUND DOWN BELOW US. OUR ALT AT THIS TIME WAS APPROX 6000 FT MSL AND WE ESTIMATE HIS ALT AT 2000-3000 FT MSL (WHICH WAS BELOW TCASII SCALE). THE FOLLOWING DAY, WE WERE ADVISED BY CHIEF PLT OF THE POSSIBLE CONFLICT WITH THE MTR JUST AFTER DEP. WE WERE NOT ADVISED BY JAN TWR OF AN MTR ON APCH TO 33L AT JAN.
