Narrative:

Descending into act airport on a visual approach, WX was good (clear and 20). First officer observed birds (2) ahead a few seconds before me. Initially I saw one, then 2 seconds later the second. Unfortunately, too late to escape a strike. My windscreen and center windscreen were totally obscured with remains. I immediately looked at first officer's windscreen and saw it was clear. I then instructed her to take control of the aircraft. I examined windscreens at did not observe any damage. We landed in act with no other incident. I was able to taxi to gate using my dv window and first officer windscreen after shutting down aircraft first officer and myself examined outside of aircraft. The bird first hit top of nose compartment, then windscreen. This buzzard was large!
