Narrative:

ZID advised that we had traffic at 12 O'clock, eastbound, at FL290 and at, I believe he said, 15 mi. We shortly picked him up on TCASII at plus 900 ft and descending. Then plus 800 descending, I started getting a TCASII warning and advised center that I was descending. The lowest information on TCASII was plus 700 and this was while we were descending. We descended to FL276 before we saw the TCASII separation number increasing. Passed overhead reading plus 900 and climbing. Center was kept advised and did not indicate any problems.
