Narrative:
After being deiced, I taxied for runway 35R. The airport was covered with a 1/2 inch sheet of ice. When transitioning from a sanded section of the taxiway to an unsanded portion, I lost control of steering. The aircraft wxvaned and would not respond to nosewheel steering, brakes, or reverse thrust. It slid slowly sideways on the ice on the narrow taxiway till the right landing gear dropped off the concrete. No injuries. Aircraft ok after removal.
