Narrative:
Emergency was declared at specified point due to high indicated cabin altitude at cruise flight, cabin pressure caution light illuminated and oxygen masks were automatic deployed. Emergency checklist and descent was established by crew according to cockpit operating manual. Descended with clearance from center to 10000 ft, cabin altitude reduced to normal. Continued flight at 10000 ft, normal landing in memphis. Upon landing pressurization problem written up in maintenance logbook.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: AN ACR MLG MADE AN EMER DSCNT AFTER A SLOW LOSS OF PRESSURIZATION.
Narrative: EMER WAS DECLARED AT SPECIFIED POINT DUE TO HIGH INDICATED CABIN ALT AT CRUISE FLT, CABIN PRESSURE CAUTION LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND OXYGEN MASKS WERE AUTO DEPLOYED. EMER CHKLIST AND DSCNT WAS ESTABLISHED BY CREW ACCORDING TO COCKPIT OPERATING MANUAL. DSNDED WITH CLRNC FROM CTR TO 10000 FT, CABIN ALT REDUCED TO NORMAL. CONTINUED FLT AT 10000 FT, NORMAL LNDG IN MEMPHIS. UPON LNDG PRESSURIZATION PROB WRITTEN UP IN MAINT LOGBOOK.
