Narrative:
We received a TCASII RA as we approached runway 35L cos. We complied with the TCASII directions and stopped our descent and began to climb. Prior to this, tower had informed us of an aircraft on downwind but we never got a visual on him. After taking evasive action we were out of position for a safe landing and elected to go around. We were vectored around for abut 15 mins and came back around and landed without further incident.
