Narrative:
In level flight at FL290 in cruise we received a TCASII RA to descend. We followed TCASII commands and descended to FL282. While at FL282, an light transport jet crossed overhead (by 2300 ft per TCASII). This would put the light transport at FL305 according to TCASII. We advised ATC of our RA and altitude and climbed back to FL290 after the traffic cleared. ATC was unaware of any traffic conflict. The flight concluded uneventfully.
