Narrative:

Climbing to 11000 ft we received an RA to 'climb, climb now!' the captain (PF) responded immediately to the RA. In the process we climbed through our assigned altitude of 11000 ft. We leveled at 11500 ft. We never received a TA prior to being issued an RA. Both the captain and myself did not see the traffic, but ATC confirmed the traffic as a 'pop-up' target on their radar. At the time of the RA, the traffic was at 10400 ft (approximately 1-2 mi at 1 O'clock position to us), and we were 10200 ft climbing.
