Narrative:

I was at the north side of dupage airport (by their new museum), and I requested clearance to depart VFR from the ground controller. I was cleared to taxi to runway 10 for departure. I began to taxi, and I noticed that I was on runway 15-33, going northwest. I called the ground controller to tell him that I was on runway 15-33 (I got off at the first intersection) and the controller told me that he didn't expect me to go that way, but that it was ok.

Title: RWY INCURSION, UNAUTH RWY OP ENTRY.

Narrative: I WAS AT THE N SIDE OF DUPAGE ARPT (BY THEIR NEW MUSEUM), AND I REQUESTED CLRNC TO DEPART VFR FROM THE GND CTLR. I WAS CLRED TO TAXI TO RWY 10 FOR DEP. I BEGAN TO TAXI, AND I NOTICED THAT I WAS ON RWY 15-33, GOING NW. I CALLED THE GND CTLR TO TELL HIM THAT I WAS ON RWY 15-33 (I GOT OFF AT THE FIRST INTXN) AND THE CTLR TOLD ME THAT HE DIDN'T EXPECT ME TO GO THAT WAY, BUT THAT IT WAS OK.
