Narrative:
Takeoff roll on runway 26R at brown field, san diego, ca. Aborted takeoff due to 2 coyotes appearing on runway. Since it was early morning, animals were hard to detect. Situation can be prevented by keeping perimeter gates closed and keeping grass cut. Runway needs resurfacing. A NOTAM remark would also be helpful.
