Narrative:
Taxi at night, failed to see hold short line and taxi across runway in front of an aircraft which was doing touch-and- goes. The problem was caused by airport disorientation and cockpit distraction. The mistake was discussed with the tower, attended ground instruction, and also spoke with the pilot who was cut in front of. In the future will be more cautious and ask tower for progressive taxi instructions.
