Narrative:
Departing runway 32L (T10 intersection) from ord we were assigned right turn to heading 020 degrees. At approximately 1000 ft AGL the first officer noticed another takeoff on our right. At the same time we received a TA on the TCASII. We responded by leveling off and rolling wings level to avoid the other aircraft (an ATR42). The aircraft passed overhead and to the right. We resumed climb and turned to our assigned heading.
