Narrative:
Departing clt runway 36L at 200-300 ft AGL as we approached climb altitude of 20 degrees nose up, we received TCASII alert (TA) - lowered nose and looked for traffic until TCASII indicated clear of traffic. Did not start immediate turn to 330 as per SID because of possible traffic conflict. Departure advised we were late with 330 degree turn. We advised we had started the turn and had delayed 330 degree turn because of TCASII alert. Departure advised he was not aware of any traffic.
