Narrative:
I was instructed to roll to the end and turn left and taxi to the ramp and remain on the tower frequency. As I left the runway and taxied toward the ramp I noticed an airplane ahead moving about on the ramp area. Thinking he was going to head the aircraft in my direction, I eased my aircraft to the right. I slowed the aircraft down to begin looking for the lineman to taxi me in to a parking spot. I noticed a lineman appearing to lead me over toward the right. I taxied a little further and the aircraft began to shake and there was a violently loud noise. I turned to my left rear (approximately 7 O'clock position) and saw a beech 18. Ground control had instructed the beech 18 to give way to me. The other pilot lost sight of me apparently and assumed he knew where I was. The way to avoid these types of unneeded accidents is to exercise more diligence and keep taxi speed slow. If you don't know where someone is, stop and ask. Don't continue to taxi if you are unsure. It may have helped to avoid this accident had the other aircraft had his taxi/landing lights on. I never saw the aircraft coming towards me. I think his taxi speed must have been too fast.

Title: 2 ACFT COLLIDED WHILE TAXIING IN A NIGHT OP.
Narrative: I WAS INSTRUCTED TO ROLL TO THE END AND TURN L AND TAXI TO THE RAMP AND REMAIN ON THE TWR FREQ. AS I LEFT THE RWY AND TAXIED TOWARD THE RAMP I NOTICED AN AIRPLANE AHEAD MOVING ABOUT ON THE RAMP AREA. THINKING HE WAS GOING TO HEAD THE ACFT IN MY DIRECTION, I EASED MY ACFT TO THE R. I SLOWED THE ACFT DOWN TO BEGIN LOOKING FOR THE LINEMAN TO TAXI ME IN TO A PARKING SPOT. I NOTICED A LINEMAN APPEARING TO LEAD ME OVER TOWARD THE R. I TAXIED A LITTLE FURTHER AND THE ACFT BEGAN TO SHAKE AND THERE WAS A VIOLENTLY LOUD NOISE. I TURNED TO MY L REAR (APPROX 7 O'CLOCK POS) AND SAW A BEECH 18. GND CTL HAD INSTRUCTED THE BEECH 18 TO GIVE WAY TO ME. THE OTHER PLT LOST SIGHT OF ME APPARENTLY AND ASSUMED HE KNEW WHERE I WAS. THE WAY TO AVOID THESE TYPES OF UNNEEDED ACCIDENTS IS TO EXERCISE MORE DILIGENCE AND KEEP TAXI SPD SLOW. IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHERE SOMEONE IS, STOP AND ASK. DON'T CONTINUE TO TAXI IF YOU ARE UNSURE. IT MAY HAVE HELPED TO AVOID THIS ACCIDENT HAD THE OTHER ACFT HAD HIS TAXI/LNDG LIGHTS ON. I NEVER SAW THE ACFT COMING TOWARDS ME. I THINK HIS TAXI SPD MUST HAVE BEEN TOO FAST.
